I took this one because of the reflection on the glass slab and ink. This was during my struggle to mix a colour for a print that will be part of an exchange and exhibition in October. I'll post progress and details closer to the date.

Safe and very happy travels to my sister Leah, pictured above, who is on her way to Japan to live and work with her partner Dane. Roy cat will be staying with me from now on, so that's a definite positive. (one more cat closer to being a crazy cat lady!)

Leah is adventurous, independent, colourful and brave, and while we may be very different in those aspects with a six year age difference, we get along extremely well and i will miss her sleeping over on the couch, helping me with homework, annoying me for fun, cooking good vegetables and being so excited to look through her stocking at Christmas time. 

So i guess next on my To Do list is:

 Save $$ for Japan!

Yesterday i turned twenty three years old.

Thankyou to everyone who wished me a happy birthday (and Luke for sending me the above picture, a highlight of my day.) I had a great time, made some punch and got some lovely gifts.

Speaking of lovely gifts, i have some brilliant news!

I have been given a chance to exhibit in a group show at First Site Gallery in 2012. The show will be titled Reformation and i will update you on details closer to the date.

Finished school for 2011. Thankyou and Well done to everyone who contributed to make last night possible. There's so much i will miss about 2011. 

I did drop my iphone into the toilet last night though, not a great time.
